JUNIOR ADVANCED COURSE

Ages of students: 8-9 year olds
Qualifications: Graduate of the Yamaha Junior Extension Course
Course length: 2 years
Class schedule: One class per week
Private Lessons: One half hour per week in addition to the class

The Junior Advanced Course will build on the musical skills acquired in the Junior Extension Course, and apply them to keyboard and ensemble performance.

The Junior Advanced Course will:

	Develop performance skills on the piano or Electone® in the private lessons.
	Develop creative ability in musical arrangement and improvisation.
	Continue to emphasize hearing, reading, writing, singing and ensemble skills as part of a broader musical foundation.
